What is Women of WNC Social Club?
We are social club of women of all different ages, backgrounds, life experiences, beliefs, interests, etc. This is a home to all. The WWNC serves women in the tri-county areas of Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and North Georgia, and everyone far and wide is welcome. Who runs this group?
This group was created in the Summer of 2022 by Stacey Jewell, a resident of Cherokee County. She began this group because she identified a need in the community to create a space for women to gather in an effort form lasting bonds, combat loneliness and reconnect with humanity. Women need other women, and that was exactly her mission; to foster an environment where friendships can be made. Stacey is a naturally involved type of human. She enjoys event planning, socializing and just a good old fashioned soiree. She strives to find the beauty in life and bring out the beauty in others. Women are lovely creatures and we belong among the wildflowers.
